well, at least you were fortunate enough to find one up and moving...they're usually sleeping whenever i've seen them. the bamboo and his gaze add interesting elements to the image, but not enough to salvage the whole image. this might be more effective if extremely cropped to include the shoulder down to the top of the stone, then over just a hair past the bamboo pole. this would give it strength and mystery, while losing the zoo feel that comes in with the ground clutter.

i know this was not an easy shot to capture...i am always experiencing a contest of wills with my two favorite models. what i like here is the joy and innocence that you've captured. the lighting is tremendous (especially appreciate the lack of any flares). what could have made this better? the bench is a distraction. the only other suggestion is timing; if the girl in the back had been either to the left of the right, it would have given my eye more of a journey through the yard. all the same, i love what you've captured here. good luck!

this man's face and garb say that there is a story here that needs to be told. however, without any more context, i'm not sure what the story is. maybe if you had focused in on just his head and chest, or if you had backed off and shown his mount and what he was doing. as is, there's not much for me.
