i like the lighting and colors of your image. the one thing that would have really bumped it up would have been a deeper dof and absolutely razor-sharp focus. all the same, i'll score it a 6 and wish you the best of luck.

[as an aside, not that this has anything to with scoring, but all caps in the title are a little hard on the eyes, almost like visual shouting.]

interesting take on the challenge. i think your image would have been stronger if you had gone on and cropped out the top down to just below the sign edge--that stuff adds nothing. this really looks like a fun place to visit, and i'm sure the city council will be approaching you to for permission to reprint this in all the tourist literature . good luck, 6 from me.

interesting composition. the lighting is really effective, the way you've allowed the red to really speak while maintaining the muted colors in the shadows. not sure, but wondering if it would have been stronger if the sign wasn't so dead-on?

interesting, whimsical take on the challenge. could probably use a better title. i'm scoring this a 6, but would suggest revisiting this after the challenge and playing with different crops and placements of the card and game piece (they are a little too far apart). good luck!

i like the composition, but am struggling with the execution. you could definitely use a lens hood to cut down on the lens flare (which is a major distraction). i know this was a tough shot to take and to process, especially trying to capture the detail that you did, without allowing too much blow out. all the same, i'll score this a 6 and wish you good luck!

interesting composition, but unable to tell what the object at the top is. is that the light source? is it a votif? when i cover the top of the image with my hand, the image seems a bit stronger. i don't mind the grain, and do understand the limits of what you can do under basic editing, but wish you could have sharpened the text and taken out the hot spots on the crucifix. good luck!

this would have been a strong entry in the bw challenge, not so sure about this one. yes, the rules of math are indisputable, but they are unknown by most and easily ignored. a major component of authority is the ability to command respect, and for the purposes of this challenge, you would need to address the ability to enforce the laws, and/or the consequences of not following (for example, a person stretched out on the ground with a large rock next to him: the enforcement of the law of gravity). all the same, i'll score this a 6 and wish you good luck!

the color and imagery work, especially the lighting. however, for the large percentage of people never exposed to this work (or not accepting of it), it might miss its mark. i also think this could benefit from a much sharper focus.
