ok, i like the colors, the impact, the composition, and the basic execution. but, there's just something that's not clicking for me. i hate to criticize, especially knowing how hard it is to catch a shot like this, but something just seems off. maybe it's the pattern of the splash and the lighting on it? oh well, don't mind me. good luck!

(ps: i'm not going to hold it against you that you didn't completely wipe up the surface between takes...)

on one hand, this is a stirring image, on the other, the more i look at it, the more it loses its initial impact. i think the problem i'm having is that all the detail in the mid-ground is running together, creating a visual miasma. i think this would have been much better in color. good luck!

most excellent capture! this really is amazing. this is also a great example of the type of image that people can go "ahh" and pass over quickly, but, as soon as they attempt it, learn that it's just not that automatic... well, you've done a great job, and i hope it does well for you!

i don't know why, but this image seems a bit flat to me. i wish i could tell you "do this or try that", but i don't know what to tell you, other than it needs something to make it pop. good luck with the rest of the voters, but for me, 5 is the best i can do.
