A study in orangeby s2fraserComment: beautiful colors, great bokeh. focus overall is a bit soft. i bet though, that this could make an interesting piece of digital art if you applied a strong gaussian blur to the flower itself. good luck! |

Hazy Afternoon — Brant Point Light, Nantucket Townby Bear_MusicComment: this looks like it would be a nice place to shoot. just wish you had come at a more interesting time of day (morning or late afternoon), and that you had chosen a perspective that made use of the unique architecture of the lighthouse. as is, this comes off a bit snap-shotty (ie, uninteresting, except to document that you've been there). good luck! |

Lunch!by bjallenComment: great capture, great bokeh, too much fence. the bottom 40% really detracts from the image, as the bird is not that large. to turn your images from good to great, you need to focus on eliminating competiting elements that do not compliment each other. good luck, and thanks for sharing. |
