Morning Lightby pitsamanComment: this is exquisite. your control of exposure is impeccable. i really hope this doesn't get overlooked in this monster challenge, and that it gets the attention it deserves. and now, as i have nothing further to offer, i'm just going to sit back and enjoy it for a moment, if you don't mind. good luck in the challenge! |

Botswana Leopardby boughanComment: oh, wow-ild! most excellent image. i think this would be somewhat discomforting had the stare been directed at the camera. this baby looks all business. great bokeh! i also like how the foreground seems to offer a small sense of protection, even though we know we're just kidding ourselves about that. great composition. hope this gets the attention it deserves, and that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of this huge challenge! |

Moonsetby graceeComment: what a beautiful, peaceful, serene moment you have captured here. i hate saying this, given the title, but i actually think your image would have been stronger had you cloned out the moon. i don't know why, but the moon just doesn't photograph that well, at least not with a wider angle. but here, you have such wonderful colors and have captured such a mood, the little dot of the moon is more a distraction than a strong subject or enhancement to the image. well, that's just my opinion, and you should in no way let it take away from how you feel about your image. it is wonderful, and i hope you do well with it! |

"Serenity"by tfarrell23Comment: this feels like a cool breeze and a breath of fresh air. if i had the time, this is what i would shoot all day. i just recently learned some photoshop techniques that can actually save that blown out area in the back. i used it to save the blow outs in the back of this image:
pm me if you're interested. you can wait until after the challenge if you want.
thanks for sharing yours, good luck! |
