i am seeing this after it was validated (for what, who knows? i don't see anything that would trigger a dq request...). it does look over-processed. there is a fair amount of banding in the skies, and the wires are showing a lot of haloing. i imagine you were trying to correct for a soft focus, which could have been prevented with a tripod.

excellent subject, nice tones. image would be much stronger if not such a centered composition. just a 10-15 degree turn to the left would have made a big difference.

this looks like it has a full range, but it comes across more as a tinted image than a true bw, which tends to dilute the strength of the image. you may want to try other methods for desaturizing your images.

as much as i like this, i hate to comment without seeing the whole scene...but, i wonder if there were more interesting shadows in the foreground? great job catching the details in the side of the barn.
