Shineby DeniseBernadetteComment: nice find! what a tough shot, with the darkened sky and deep shadows. i might suggest metering for a brighter spot and shooting at a higher f-stop. then you can use shadow/highlight adjustments to pull the darker areas out, without losing so much detail to the blowouts. all the same, you have a nice image here, and i hope it does well for you. good luck! |

riders on the stormby Man_Called_HorseComment: this looks like it has potential, but i'm not quite what sure to make of it as is. the post processing seems a bit uneven, especially given the ultra-dark top part, and all the people in the foreground tend to distract from the ones on the ridge. to top it off, i'm sure it looks a lot better large than how you have to present it here. oh well, such is the nature of these challenges. hope this does well for you. good luck! |

The Story Tellerby ruffianComment: i know you're just kicking yourself over not being able to get a better angle on your subject, one without the foremost closest person... nice capture, excellent expression, and very nice treatment. you might consider cropping that person out altogether. it appears that you have enough detail not to lose too much by giving that much of the image up. just my opinion, though. all the same, nice work. good luck! |

Silhouette Skyby Dr.ConfuserComment: this is a beautiful image, one, though, that will probably be overlooked and under-appreciated. i really doubt if any dpc-score will do this image justice. all the same, thanks for sharing. good luck! |
