not a fan of that much tilt. might be better if tilted the other way, so that it doesn't feel that the image is going to topple over on the bear.

jp, you might want to take a look at this cropping off the top half of the image. this is a great shot, but as i scrolled down to comment, it became a LOT more dynamic and interesting.

as much as i can appreciate the effort/desire here, the execution isn't quite where it needs to be. you might consider spending some time in the archives looking for the images that really grab you, then spend some time out trying to recreate them. the more you practice, the closer you'll get. as much as anything, you need to work on composition, especially in deciding what to include and what to exclude from your image. check out this image

sorry, but this just doesn't get it for me. as an image, it's all right, as a challenge entry, it doesn't really grab me, either. might make for an interesting series of prints, though.
