Garden Thiefby DianaComment: nice idea, but i guess you were hoping no one would notice the 'motion blur'...
i know it's tough to throw these images away, especially when something like this just jumps up right in front of you. but, if you really want to get good, you need to do two things: 1) practice, practice, practice, practice, so that when you have opportunities like this, you can respond quickly and correctly, and 2) delete and move on when you don't get it. it's ok to keep some of them just for the sake of keeping them, but if you care about your scores, don't enter them into challenges without reading the descriptions carefully... |

Tail Spinby JacquiDComment: maybe it was moving, maybe it's a setup. it's an ok idea, but the execution needs work. what if you had taken a photo of someone actually catching a flipped coin, focused in tightly on their hand about to grab the flipping coin out of mid-air? also, the lighting really takes away from the image--need to experiment and practice with that. |

Dragon Flyby andrea22_alsComment: sorry, nothing here to indicate stopped motion. aside from that, the technicals could use some work (it's a little soft). compositionally, it doesn't really grab me--not enough there to catch and hold my interest. |

Gull In Flightby FromacComment: obviously, the bird's in motion, but the image doesn't strike me as one that was terribly difficult to capture. aesthetically, it's nice enough, but it doesn't really move me. |

Heelingby cresusComment: yes, you've stopped something in motion, but the image falls short of making me feel like "wow, how'd they do that." |

I'm Outta Here!by KenComment: what a pain. you spend all the time hunched over, chasing that damn bee, and you can't get him to face you. it's a shame, because it really takes away from the shot, with him flying out of the frame. |
