the thing that bothers me about this image is the it seems to be trying to do too much. to me, there should be a LOT more chaotic water splashing to balance out her "i can't believe i'm here" expression. or, the shutter should have been slowed to let the water dramatically wash over and around her. as is, the image seems to be in limbo.

ok, you have a baby and you have a camera. good to get them acquainted at an early age. now, what you really need to do is spend time looking at all the baby photos you can, picking out the ones you really like, then spend some time trying to mimic them.
