"Honey, look at the kitty cat..."by TerramarComment: Believe it or not, we were only about 6 feet from the lion...literally. The only thing between my wife and I was a large guy with a rifle. We were on a safari in Zimbabwe, Africa. We had been trying to find lions all night long and stumbled on a pride of female lions. This one charged us several times. Pretty crazy. |

Portrait of an Unknown Writerby ElemmennopeComment: I really like this picture. Most of the other entries were pretty generic. This picture actually has some emotion tied to it. I like the lighting and overall contrast. Good job. I'd be surprised if you were not in the top 5. |
