Passifloraby ephlnComment: As you are already painfully aware, the lighting is a bit harsh. It is a great example of the flower though, perfectly formed, colourful and not yet starting to wither like myself. I actually have a thin, white umbrella that I have used in situations like this to shield the flower from the direct light and give it a softer, diffused look. |

sunlight refrainby krnodilComment: I like the fact that you purposely defocused. It certainly puts the emphasis on the entire photo as a play of light and lines, as opposed to simply a photo of a cat, although I am sure that would have been nice as well, just not as thought provoking. |

Miss Crazy Eyesby Blue MoonComment: I have always had mixed emotions about my own portrait shots where the subject is not facing square to the camera but it seems as though one eye is the center of the attention because of how it stares into the camera. I think you have done a good job here of making it so obvious that everyone will know that it was intentional and not just something that happened. |

Trampled Under Footby PhotologistComment: Very nicely seen to just shoot the legs, as that is the most powerful part of the horse (even as a statue) and I am sure also helped to eliminate a lot of distraction in the background as well. |

Sleddingby kashiComment: One of those circumstances where there is way too much contrast for the camera to handle it, so you did the right thing and got the exposure on the child right and let the snow go white. Unfortunately having that much white is a bit of a distraction from the child, who has nicely saturated colours. |

Nothing Runs Like a Deere.....by NikonJebComment: The tractor looks really good. I do find the border to be a distraction though. :) Makes me want to farm, ok, maybe not, but it is a very nice image. |

parallel recowlityby skewsmeComment: This is another example of what I meant in my other comment about your ability to see things in many different ways and portray them all wonderfully. I am much to timid as a photographer to submit a rotated photo, even if it does look better that way as this one does. you have an incredible eye for taking an ordinary scene and making people see the beauty within it that they would have missed on their own. |

Beautiful Like Youby HipychikComment: I like how the colours are all a bit muted to give the photo an overall moodiness. I would have preferred to see the vase brought forward a few more inches to get the flowers farther from the wall however. It looks like a painting. |
