whoa! There is something about the loop earings that just do not go along well with the ultra closeup portrait like this. I think the earings are more feminen and the photo shows a more stronger type of woman. I would also lose the hand as it totally distracts from the image.

The lighting is a bit flat but certainly had nice exposure and the white backdrop is nice. Skin tones are bang on as well, and her eyes are very expressive. As is this gets a 6, but without the hand it would be a point higher.

Very sexy model. Unfortunately the side lighting is not very flattering to your subject. It would help to have a background light or a hair light separate her dark hair from the dark backdrop. the low perspective is not flattering either, as it represents a position of power for your model, where a sexy lady is usually most effectively photographed from a higher vantage looking downwards to show a more sensuous look. Finally her one eye does not have a catchlight so it seems a tad dark.

Please do not take this as being totally discouraging to you, I think the warm tones are nice, the model is beatiful and there is a lot of potential here, it is just not quite there yet. :) 5

This is a very well done portrait. I am not sure I agree with almost total side lighting, but it certainly can be argued that it adds to the masculine effect. The background light is nice to keep the dark shirt separated from the backdrop. Good expression and nice skin tones. 7

Cute model, but very harsh on camera flash combined with her putting her weight on her hands take away from the photo. The flash causes the harsh lighting and the hard shadow behind her. She does not look very comfortable having the photo taken.

Great attempt, and you certainly have a good model to practice with. Keep at it.

A very pretty portrait of a nice young lady. :)

The lighting is nice even though it is a bit flat. Good modelling angle of her body and head. I think it might be more effective if she was not sitting cross legged, so that her back was straighter and you could maybe make it head and shoulders only and not have to use the square crop.

The point at the bottom where you cropped with half of her legs and part of her hands cut off takes away from the top 3/4 of the photo which is wonderful. Gets a nice 7 from me.

Lighting is nice and your model is beautiful. I am not crazy about the background colour though, however I like that you used a background light to help separate her from it. I think the only thing that I would like to see different other than the background colour, is that she is looking to far to the side, putting her eyes to the corner of the eye sockets which looks a little distracting.

Overall a great portrait that I am sure Kaya loves very much. :) 7

I think the crop is very awkward, both the crop at the top of her head and missing the one shoulder. The lighting is great. The angle of the camer is not flattering for her though, since it is an "up your nose" shot and also puts too much emphasis on her ear. She also appears to be a bit of a sickly green/yellow on my calibrated monitor.

Great lighting and model.

Such a great model and such a poor location to take the photo. Sorry, but the location is very distracting and ruins a nice photo of a very interesting boy.

This is beautiful. It would have scored at least an 8 from me if he was not missing the tip of his ear. As it is you are still getting a nice 6 from me. Great exposure and nice soft light. Woof!

The dry ice is nice, but it does not look much like a studio portrait.
