The Knitterby BogiComment: A wonderful portrait of an older man. :)
I think because you are including the hands to show the knitting I would have backed off a bit to include a bit more of the arms so it does not look like his hands grow out of his checst.
I think perhaps a bit more fill would have been nice too because the dark side of his nose is almost black.
overall a great shot that really captures some personality, which is what it is all about! |

Sadnessby phloverComment: Let me see, no hair and a goatee, Jason?
the very strong lighting here along with the piercing stare makes me think not of sadness but of anger, like you are thinking about all the trolls voting this image down!
Seriously though I like it, although I am sure if this challenge was in advanced editing (like it should have been...) you would have then toned down the ear in the left of the frame a bit and the shiny bits on the face.
Nice work. 7 |

My Mona Lisaby BrianRComment: Well I am sure she likely appreciates this shot better than your abstract one. ;)
From what I can see your hair light is spilling over and catching both her glasses and also just inside her collar causing some hot spots. The hair light must be almost bare bulb cause it seems a bit hard.
She is certainly a lovely model and this is a nice shot, but would be better without the situation mentioned earlier. :)
Good luck. |

Direct Hitby AllurNeedZComment: Don't you hate it when you get comments like that of Ringo? Of course it is out of focus, it is motion blurr...duh.
This was a nice take on the challenge and likely took a lot of time to get. Shame it did not do better for you. Keep trying. :) |

suprise shotby ScooterMcNuttyComment: I like the lighting in this, although it is a tad overexposed on the window side. It would have been much more effective as a vertical crop so her head was not cut off and there would not be all the empty space on the sides that does nothing for the image at all except fight for the viewers attention.
Darn..if this shot was just of her with taht expression and lighting without the extra large space at the sides and with all of her head this would have been an amazing capture. |

want some?by FrozenforeverComment: Nice model, however the ultra harsh lighting totally contrast with the sexy outfit and pose of your model. |

Barbie Girlby h2Comment: Beautiful model. Howeer the severe cropping ruins the image. Also her head is turned so far that you cannot make out the catch light in her one eye so it looks strange. Do a less severe crop and have her turn her head a bit more toward the camera and it would be very nice. Also I wonder why you did not go with a total white background on such a high key image?
Overall I appreciate the effort that went into this, even if it does not totally do it for me...with some minor adjustment this could have been outstanding. :) |

Metal Claw!by SpongetoastComment: I am not sure why you left the glasses on her when in basic editing you cannot clone out the reflections of the softbox? I like the fact that this is a different take from most of the others though. :) |

Anaby DistantColoursComment: Great model and nice soft light. However the black outfit blends into the background so she looks like a floating head, and the dark part of her hair blends in as well. You could really use a background light here or a lighter colour backdrop. |
