First I would crop a bit more to get rid of the swimmer on the left. Next I would have tried a nice vertical orientation starting with the two closest poles on the edges...so that you get "drawn in" to the photo as it appears to get smaller. That would also have eliminated the dull sky from the photo. Just a few thoughts. good luck.

I like the attempt at the framing effect with the tree on the right, but it is to in focus to be abstract, and to out of focus to be a main subject, so the result is distracting.
