Fantastic B&W image. The contrasty feel is really great. The high contrast just goes great with the scraggly, jaggy shape of the tree, which looks like a bolt of lightning.

Creative! This had me looking for a "This photo has been validated" message. :) I really like what you've done. The composition is good, you appear to have deliberately chosen what you wanted to appear in the image and how to communicate that to the viewer. Really a work of art.

The only thing I would change is that the tree foliage looks too bright (and appears to be illuminated from THIS side of the tree) since the moon is on the other side of the tree. This side should be quite a bit darker to make it look more consistent.

My final words, though: this is a work of art. Nice work.

Cool effect. Nice composition, nice clean image, but I think it has less challenge-meeting potential since there is not "a single tree" that appears to be the main subject.
