Hand to Canvasby Man_Called_HorseComment: Greetings from the critique club:
Now, this is not fair. I am a fan of this image. It was an image that I liked because the subject is very appealing and the capture shows off the b/w media. Everything about this image is pleasing. The background descends into darkness to bring out the foreground, The shadows play well on the ground.
We are now left with a heart warming smile adorned with little bows. The vendor's attire gives the image authenticity and the lighting plays well with those nice little highlights tracing the hat and the vest.
No, my friend. I repeat, this is an image that should have scored much higher and there is nothing I can say to improve it, except to change it, and I like it just as is.
Your images "Lost not Found" , "Dead End" and "Naturally Framed" are in the same class as this one. A very consistent output. Stick to current quality and all will be well. |

The humor here is high voltage. This is one where the tilte is married to the image. very clever. |

Here Be Giantsby cpanaiotiComment: A very nice presentation and I do follow your thinking. This could have finished much higher by taking advantage of the still life wherein you can place camera on a support and then close the lens all the way down and shoot it at whatever prolonged time you need. You then focus on the tip of the handle. Despite this, the concept was solid and the color selection was on the money. |
