1.5 kg of applesby siggiComment: This is a great example of low tech. I especially like the fact that this scale is off by 2/10th of a kg. Very nice touch, although I doubt a lot of voters will miss this subtle yet effective point. |

Iron Guardsby rkligmanComment: Yes there are seven guards here but the overall photo quality is dismal. Perhaps it was an artistic touch, but it doesn't work for me because it looks raw and sloppy. For example, the 7th stake at the far right has white artifacts near the left tip. Sorry. |

Step 7by H R VerryComment: This is overall puzzling. Something sinister about this shot. Perhaps it is the eerie red glow coupled with the deserted location and the silhouetted figure. Aside from the "7" sign, there's no strong connection with the challenge theme. |
