Here today, gone tomorrowby perotyComment: Nice shot of the caterpillars, it may have been more interesting if you showed the more of the background so it would appear the like they were progressing on the wildlife, just a suggestion |

Man-made landmarksby InnaNComment: it looks like there is a heart shaped cloud in the background behind the tall landmark. I think a tighter crop of the landmarks may have had abit more of an impact |

Left Behindby MochaJunkieComment: I like the composition of the photo and reflections of the pole in the water, I would be careful to have a straight horizon as many voters will find it distracting and mark down points |

Slowly, but Surelyby Blue MoonComment: nice image but Iwish the file size was bigger. The max allowable is 150 kb, your image is 35 kb. This means you could have had nearly five times the detail in the shell sould have been much better. Here is a link to the preparing submissions for challenges tutorial. This tutorial is based on using photoshop, but I think it would help your scores to look into whatever software you are using to get the biggest file size you can for images. You obviously put in some work to this photo, and I notice alt of photos get scored low solely because is altillte too small or is alittle jaggedy which comes from small file size, hope this helps you out. |

growing oldby ralukatudorComment: this is a good photo but I wish it was bigger, both in terms of the image size but also in file size. The max limit for file size is 150 kb and your file size is 79 kb, this means that you could have had a much larger file size which would bring out more details int the photo. Here is a link to the tutorial on submitting photos for challenges. This is based on using photoshop if you have it. I see lots of photos marked low because they are small photos and file size rather than judged on the merits of the photo itself. Hope this helps |

Boulder by Boulderby M.O.C.Comment: Although I see boulders in the photo, I think it may have helped if you had them moving som rocks to match the title. Also I think if you had shot from more of an angle instead directly overhead it would have shown ibit more depth. cool macro, I especially like the ant sticking its big head out of the hole |
