I walk aloneby jdannelsComment: Originally posted by Melethia: Nice mood of isolation created here, though I don't perceive it as sad - just solitary in a kind of content sort of way. |
Thanks for all the compliments :). Its interesting you notice this photo as alone and not lonely too, the man was just out for afternoon walk, a loop around waterfront where I took this and seemed quite content. |

Bath Timeby SteveJComment: really? the best you commentors could come up with was gross and get rid of this? This upsets me and if this was my photo I would most likely be discouraged from entering challenges again. unbelievable...
Steve some things that I think may have helped, first the lighting is a little harsh on the leg, if you are using the flash on the camera your can try putting some tissue paper over the lens and it can diffuse the light, but it may make your photo alittle yellow, which would have to be fixed later. The easiest way is using a hue/saturation layer and go to yellow or red and desaturate or play with the hue. Second the composition is cramped and you have the toes cut off on one side and some finger tips coming in on the other side, I think alot of voters would dock points for something like this. If you have a tripod maybe you could set it up and do a shot just outside the tub by your head looking down the tub while you are in it to give the feeling of being relaxed. Hope some of this helps and happy shooting. :)
