yeah I like this one better too,how did you meter this one? Spot meter the skin? I think this allows the viewer to connect more with the subject.

Glam under the pier

This is really cool use of the challenge, by using a long line of light under the pier as opposed to just the sun that gives the classic circular glow. this may have also been a reason why it didn't score so well, as it wouldn't be what the normal voter had in mind. I think it is cool, i would have like to have seen the light coming a little lower in the frame, so the light doesn't pop out of the top of her head. Other than that it is really creative entry, IMO.
