I was really hoping he would yawn too, and afterwards I was thinking I should have given a big over the top yawn to see if it was contagious. :) But while he sitting before i had my camera pointed at him something spooked him outside the train and and he was startled and looking at something out to the left of the train. I'll keep trying, I still like the shot too. Thanks for the comment :) Message edited by author 2007-07-28 22:23:56. |

Inner Demonsby ShermyComment: I like it, it as a real graphic abstract quality to it. If I had any suggestion it would be to maybe use a reflector placed low off camera to bring details to the model's back, but it may have changed the mood so who knows. It is pretty good the way it is. |

The Brideby courtneeComment: To me it seems like she is about to be caged and getting her last look at freedom. I am obviously not married LoL.
IMO the sky being so blown brings the shot down. I think underexposing more to have some detail in the sky would have helped and maybe a reflector to bounce the light back onto the dress would still have left some detail for the viewer? From the bottom corner of the dress it seems like there was some nice light to be had. Hope this helps some. |

Super Sprint #88by racerdudeComment: A very nice action shot, is it extreme emotion tough? I am sure for the driver it is. :) I am only commenting not voting as there were too many for me to decide what was and what wasn't extreme emotion. As a photo outside this challenge I like this photo but the color balance seems to be off for me. The greens seem too bright. I would also make sure to try and use the whole allotment of 150 kb as a size limit, it will help with the small details and keep them smooth. Great timing on this one to get the car mid'wreck. You seem to be close by too so i am glad your alright! |

hard day!by vikasComment: I think the ! takes away from the somber mood of the photo abit. "hard day" to me keeps it simple and complements the photo more. The sungle source lighting really works for this photo and the negative space leaves alot of the emotion up to the viewer. |

In Nature's Good Companyby xtianComment: This is the first person in nature shot that really seems to exude alot of emotion for me. I think it comes form the framing and how as the tree opens up there the figure really taking it all in. Maybe its because I connect with living by the ocean, either way it works for me. |

Punk Roxby PDImagesComment: I would think you would plug the electric guitar in, no? :P
This has great lighting and the outfit is nice too, it feels a little cramped but maybe that is symbolic of the man trying to keep punk down. |

hand-me-down dressby Deb_SComment: I saw this one somewhere around here for a sec, but can't remember whose it was. I really like it as a portrait and hope it doesn't get to shot down for showing some face. The black and white works perfectly and all her body language seems to show how she really feels about the hand me down. excellent. |
