Thank you for sharing this photo with me on the 'mist' thread. It is an image which compliments several words and lines in the poem there. Trees, I think, are always very appealing and lend themselves well to photography. I really like the way you've captured the levels and depths - of shape, light and shadow in this image. It's magical the way the large tree to the fore appears to frame and 'protect' the smaller tree just to one side of it in the image.

Thank you for sharing this with me on the 'mist' thread. There are so many aspects of your photograph that bring to life some of the words of the poem on the thread. There is an incredible 'balance' to your photo - created by the two trees reflected on the water. The backgrounds of mist, softening the trees beyond, create a lovely backdrop to the scene.

Thanks for sharing this image with me in the 'mist' thread - you've managed to bring to life many of the words contained within the poem there. Your capture of the mist between the trees on this photo is brilliant. There is a lovely mood within the shot and your sky is a perfect complimentary colour.

Your photo leads into that ‘brink of mist’ beyond with strong shapes (created by the stone wall, lush greenery and winding road). The fog softens the green colours in the background really nicely. Thanks for sharing this photo with me in the 'mist' thread and bringing to life some of the words in the poem therein ...the ‘whiteness’ - mist - that your photo has in the top third, (like the words in the poem), could be like that place that’s the ‘brink to life or death’, perhaps?

I like your photo with these trees either side of the road – leading into the mist. There’s something very magical about trees, I think. Thanks so much for sharing it with me in the 'mist' thread and capturing some of the words to the poem therein.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful photo of yours in the 'mist' thread with me - to bring to life some of the words of the poem I wrote. It's connection to the poem (for me), is it's “light and dark and shape and shadow overhung with a calm stillness” and “the light of morn, which bridges night and day”. I particularly like the way you’ve got those trees fading away into the background in your photo.

Thank you for sharing your photo in the thread about 'mist'. That top 1/3 of your photo (to me) describes the “the brink to life, or death..” and “light of morn, which bridges night and day” and “dimensions like those dreamed up for tellers of ghost stories”, which are mentioned in the lines of the poem I shared with you. This particular photo has meandering water leading into the mist and I like the grasses in the foreground.

A beautiful capture of trees in the mist. I agree with blemt about the 'mood' of the photo. Thanks for posting this as a good example to some of the words of my poem.

Thank you for thinking of this image and posting it in the 'mist'poem thread. It's a lovely capture of mist in the trees – Like a ‘backwash’(as said in the poem)to the rest of those lovely autumn colours and shapes in the foreground of the photo.

Giving this an 8 ...might bump higher after finished voting on the rest. Don't know what makes this such a nice photo. Good use of rule of 3rds? Or Triangles? Maybe you could tell me. (Sorry, still learning about all that stuff). Whatever - there's something very appealing about this photograph. Perhaps it's the colours and shapes in it - and yes, it still has team sport action as its theme - but seems to be very artistically captured within that theme.
........Kept the score of 8 on it. Just wondering if the image might look even better with some sort of brighter lighting - in some way?
