Love the rainbow colors! I find the brown background a bit distracting, I might have wanted to darken it, with something like a heavy vignette. Fantastic thin plane of focus and details.

First, the gradient is flawless, one of the best I've seen. But even more, I love the choice of composition and use of the black space - very brave. Its placement, the composition of the slope broken by the centered tree is awesome. Reminds me of rooum's work.
