The Violinistby judojoeComment: Very nice lighting. Lovely B&W treatment. Love the angled pose and the way the lines lead up to and frame her face. Oh, and beautiful model too.
Edit to add: My pick for top 5. |

Disco, disco frisco..by birnahelgaComment: Wish the image were bigger (remember to take full advantage of the allowed sizes for the images in the challenge). But I love the idea! |

'the entertainer'by suemackComment: Is it really him? Or a look-alike or wax dummy? You've got me intrigued. Regardless, I think the b&w conversion was done well and I love the angles in this image. Well done. |

Glamby Gaby_GComment: Okay, I give low votes to just about every "half face" shot I see. I'm just not a fan of cropping half a face off. That said ... I *do* like her make up. That, and the sharp focus on her eyes has made this image stand out for me. Well done. |

fiddlerby littledragonComment: Man, it just doesn't fit my definition of a "portrait". Too far away, too many other distracting things to look at. If you didn't mention fiddler, I would have suspect I was suppose to look at the closest guy (the one on the right walking away). I would never have even noticed the fiddler (or figured out that he had an instrument in his hands). |
