Megan-(IMG_6955)-IV-Copyrig.jpgby albc28Comment: I think this is the best of the bunch. Simple and profound. Probably need to tone down the yellow/orange a bit, but I love her eyes (and by now I'm wondering, what is the true color of her eyes since I have seen 3 different colors each of the three images).

@marketplaceby yianisnComment: Why such a dark/dull orange-ish color in a "red" challenge? My bet is that "bold red" will win out over dull when the votes are tallied. |

Revealed in Red - Self Portraitby FairyWingsComment: It's a lovely portrait and one to be proud of... but I wish the red was more prominent or bolder or something (for this challenge, anyway). So if the scores are lower than expected, don't let it get you down. Chalk it up to the red factor. |

Tomato diveby eliniasComment: I, for one, am not tired of the splashing fruit and veggies (yet). But I would have loved to have seen this as a red-on-red image for this challenge (red tomato with a red background). |

070_1415A.jpgby dwterryComment: The lighting here was actually simple. Canon 580EX pointed up towards the ceiling with the little white card pulled out to bounce some of the light forward.
I didn't put the lightsphere on until later. The LS uses up a lot of power sending light all around you and so recycle times naturally suffer. I didn't want any of that to worry me, so straight 580EX with white card was it. :-)
