Take a step or two to the right so that the gazebo frames her rather than bisects her face. And a reflector on your left to help light up her face.

In lightroom you can cheat a little with that sky. Go to the Luminance section and drop the cyan slider down a bit and the sky will go darker without having to edit the picture. (I like getting things as close to what I want before editing as possible, because the moment I load the image into photoshop I can count on it taking 10 times as long to do the same thing)

I like including these kinds of pictures so she can see the people who were with her to help her. :-)

Cute smile ... a little harsh on the flash.

Left comment in the bridals1 comments about the cloning done on this image. It's a good idea ... it just looks sloppy. No doubt because you were in a hurry (having just shot the images last night and already having edited them, that's moving pretty fast). I generally leave the images unedited unless the bride purchases them, and then I'll do the "hard work" of fixing things up like this. No sense doing work you're not getting paid for and potentially rushing it to the point of not doing your best work either.

I like the composition, with her looking to her left, the flowers where they are (they could be just a tiny bit lower to allow her bust line to be seen better), her elbow out to let you see her back, the dress spread out behind her, and the chair to balance the image. All well done.

I noticed that in bridals2 you solve the white light in the left corner by cloning in the foliage, but it looks sloppy. I switched back and forth between this one and bridals2 and think I prefer this one. You might try burning the four corners of the image instead (i.e. add a vignette). But not too much.

They didn't call it. But that's what the blue team thought too. I even showed them the pics afterwards. I think because the ball came in high it was just both of them going after the ball at the same time.

Yup... just like the image I shared, a 400mm lens makes the sun look huge! Love deep black silhouette contrasting the color, and also the bird in the sky is icing on the cake.

It seems like the ocean gives you two for the money ... you get a beautiful sunset AND a beautiful reflection of it too. I'd love to live near the ocean! :-)

Thanks for sharing.
