I See the Light!by amcfotoComment: Beautiful picture... too bad about the DQ, I really like the colors and the flare made things interesting. |

A Dandelion in a Different Lightby mariomelComment: This was one of my favorites. I'm glad to see it made the top 10. I just read the info you left on the picture and am curious... what is "lomo action"? |

Nightscapeby ArtysteComment: I'd score higher if the lights were a bit sharper. I don't know if it was the quality of the atmosphere at the time, or if the camera wasn't rock steady, or a lack of focus. The sky, however, is gorgeous! Good luck in the challenge. |

S U P E R N A T U R A Lby ahazeComment: I think you got the wrong challenge... don't these ladies belong in BEAUTY?!? Simply Gorgeous!
As for this image in this challenge... I was hoping to see light (or variations of light) play a bigger role. And while I agree these gals are well lit, there isn't much in the way of "lighting as a key element" to the picture.
One more thing, on a pose like this ... have them pull their heads apart just slightly so that they don't actually touch. I think you'll find that it improves each one by providing slight separation and by avoiding deforming their facial features.
I'm scoring a 7 for now. I may be back later to bump it up depending on what everyone else is doing for lighting. Good luck in the challenge! |

Nautilus Descentby MaverickComment: In my opinion, the problem here is that you have two different kinds of lighting... one is from natural light, the other from tungsten, resulting in a confusion of color. The stairs, the walls and the railing all make for interesting textures, so I'll give you credit there. Good luck in the challenge! |

Light is Lifeby garlicComment: This shot has me really curious as to what the light source is. I hope you'll explain later. Very interesting. Good luck in the challenge! |

obsession picturesqueby messerschmittComment: I really like how vivid the corn is in contrast with the subtle shades that surround it. This image has a "high quality" feel to it... something you would pay big $$$ to hang on your wall. Excellent shot, good luck in the challenge! |
