For anything that has a head, I always prefer the focus be on the eyes. The wings, even being out of focus, would have made a lovely pattern. But with the head out of focus, the moth virtually becomes headless.

Just a bit of info... My filenaming conventions include the addition of the letter 'a' on all edited images (or anything after that multiple revisions are made). So this image, like 99% of what I post here, is unedited.

But I love your suggestion. In fact, I think I have since edited this image (for print) and so I'm going to go back and look at it before I deliver it to her. Thanks!

A little wider angle lens and ya coulda gotten the whole circle... Still, a fabulous image. I love how you can see down under the surface of the water.
