This is a good concept that fits the challenge well IMO. Nice play of light and shadows. It looks though like the model is just holding the apple up blocking out her lower face. I think an improvement could be to either actually show her mouth biting the apple, or perhaps held a little out and lower, showing part of the mouth as if she is about to bite. Just my 2 c. :-)

I like this concept a lot. The colors of the flower are great against the black background. I like the basic composition. I really like the use of negative space in a shot, but in this case it kind of seems like just a bit too much. I'm thinking that maybe a little closer in on the flower, making it larger(a little bit, not a lot), might give a much more balanced feel. I think it would be very much worth exploring further. :-)
