I think this has the potential for a good image, but in this case, focus seems a little off and the sky is pretty bland to me. Perhaps some post processing could help the cause. I do think the border you've used in this case is complimentary to the photo.

In it's simplicity, I actually find this photo interesting and stimulating. I'm not a big stickler for having to 'obey' the rule of thirds, but I'm wondering if maybe this would be even a stronger presentation if the subject were placed at the upper right thirds intersection? Perhaps not. I do like the image.

There may be an audience for this type of image, but I'm sorry, it doesn't do anything for me, especially for the context of this challenge.

Might be a little stronger presentation if it were focused better and without the people cut off on the left and right edges.

Well, maybe you're just trying to stir up a reaction, so my reaction is...although maybe an interesting idea, IMO, this presentation is not executed very well, and I don't really find the image stimulating, positively or negatively. Oh, and what is "blavk" ??? I normally could care less about spelling, but if you're going to let it all out and try to be 'edgy' or whatever, perhaps more care should go into a simple word like black in your title, an important part of an image like this. Of course, it it is supposed to be b-l-a-V-k, then replace that last sentence with...I don't get it???

I don't get the title, but I find the image is a technically decent execution of a classic idea.

Awesome concept. Fits the challenge nicely IMO. The composition works ok for me. Seems like focus could be a tad bit sharper. Nice job.

This is a great photo. Nice focus and I like the dof. But I'm sorry, even with the title, this image does not convey 'darkness' in any way to me. It shows that that is a really nice professional grade mic.

Wow. This is an awesome concept. It fits the challenge beatifully, in a very refreshing and creative way to me. I wish I could read braille to know if there is more here to see. Unfortunately, I don't. Compositionally though, the shot doesn't seem very stimulating to me. Maybe a different grouping of elements would make a difference? Also I'm thinking perhaps a more even dof, showing the whole image in focus could have a stronger impact? Like I said, the idea is brilliant, if this is an indication of your normal line of thought and creativity, I'm sure you have and will have a lot of truly awesome photos under your belt.
