Very cool abstract. I really like the colors and textures here. I've seen a lot of attempts at shots like this that seem kind of 'messy', I like yours here because the motion comes across as intentful, and serving a purpose. It is simplistic, yet you could study if for some time looking at the complex interactions. This is the kind of thing I could have a blast playing with in ps over and over again. Nice job.

Wowsers! This is an awesome shot. I love the tones and the overall feel of the image, suits it extremely well IMO. Great composition, subtlely strong. Even though the subject is facing 'off' the frame, it works in this case well, goes with the flow of the photo (very nice use of leading lines by the way) and gives the sense of the subject looking to the future. Lighting and exposure are very good, suits the feel of the photo. I love the pose of the person, and his attire is even very fitting for the image. There are spots that look almost on the verge of being over sharpened to me, but not bad at all, might just be personal taste. Overall, a great shot, I really like it. thanks :-)

A decent night shot. I like the starburst effect on the lights. Nice placement of the horizon on the upper thirds line. I like how you've composed the shot, a nice flow of the line of lights from the right to the larger grouping of lights on the left side. A good choice of subject, I find the reflections hold my interest, nice. One thing I do find a bit distracting is the reflection that starts right above the '2005 Petur' part of your copyright statement. It looks like it is a reflection of lights that are off to the left not in the shot. To me, that makes it look out of place and takes a little away, maybe try cloning or burning that particular reflection out? Nice shot :-)

Awesome silhouette shot. Great detail in the bike and rider. I like the sky, and terrific composition. Catching the setting sun where it is, perfect. With the light and the gradient moving from lower left up across the photo, it just adds so much to the movement of the bike. Great flow, and a great feel to the whole image. Very nice.

Gorgeous composition. I really like the shadows and lighting. It does have a very erotic feel to it. Maybe could be sharper, but I am going to guess that the soft focus is intentional, and I think it works for the image, I like it. Overall, it could maybe stand to be a touch brighter, but maybe that's just me. Nice shot.

A good range of tones here. The light portion has your trademark luminosity :-) You have shown a good sense of depth, as usual too :-)
In all honesty though Robert, you know I am a big fan of your work, but this shot just doesn't really 'move' me. I am not sure why. Just seems a little flat and not as stimulating as many of your compositions are. Maybe it's just me :-)

This is beatiful Scott. I know for many people, it will not be to their liking, but I am a fan of this type of image. This looks very 'fantasy' like, or fairy tale perhaps. Composition is very good. Even though it seems like there is a lot in the shot, it still looks clean and simple. I really like the ferns in the foreground and the branch in the top left. I think they add some depth and give you a sense of 'looking in' at the scene. Your tweaking of the greens and yellows are great, they have a nice luminous feel for me. And I like the dark shadowy areas, again adding depth and strongly contributing to the 'mood' of the photo.

I'm wondering if the grey netting like foliage in the center were just a touch lighter/brighter, it might stand out just a little more. Not very much at all, just slightly. Maybe in selective color, just a little tweaking to the white and neutral channels perhaps? But maybe that's just me :-) I kind of agree about the sky, I think I definitely see what you were going for with the sky, and it's close, very close, but to me I think that the blue portions are just a little too blue. And it seems just a little too broke up with light and dark, comes off a little blotchy. Did you have a washed out or flat sky and added it with a gradient or brushing it in?

I like it though, very cool and dreamy. Reminds me of one of my shots that I quite like, 'My Hidden Pond'.

Nice work Scott :-)

A pretty cool action shot. Exposure and focus are pretty good. I like the angle and framing you've used. The water flow and the kayak go nicely vertical left to right through the shot, I think this helps create a good sense of movement and action, you get a good feel of what's going on. Placement of the subject is good, and with the color of the boat, my attention is definitely drawn to it.

I can't say of ways to improve, I've not had experience doing action shots like this. It looks pretty good to me. I read your comment about people 'getting' it. I've looked and looked, to see if there is something about it that I'm not seeing :-) (if there is, let me know, I'm curious)
