Come on, this was the saddest picture of the lot. This deserved to have placed much higher than 15th. It is an awesome picture. I gave two pictures 8's in this challenge -- yours and the one that won the blue. There were a lot of staged sadness pictures, but this one captures the true emotion. Great job.

Congratulations on the Juried selection. I loved this image and scored it high during voting. I was surprised that I did not comment on it at the time -- I guess I was too hurried. I recall lingering on it for the longest time -- a testament to how fascinating it was to me. While I always seem to be rushing to the next task on the list, your photograph stopped me in my tracks.
