Taste - tea or water?by leteneleComment: I like the simplicity of your composition. My only complaint is the black napkin (?) directly behind the glasses - otherwise I love the duplication of the other iced tea glasses in the BG. Your DOF is very nice - soft and still maintains shape. |

Milk & Coffee by evenendresenComment: Nicely done studio shot! I love the composition and variations between the two setups (instead of being perfect mirrors). The only suggestion would be either better fill light to avoid harsh shadows or re-angle the light source so the shadow of the black spoon doesn't bleed into the other side. |

chessmenby MorbidAngelComment: The softness of this is actually pretty pleasing, but I don't quite get the opposite part of it becaus the color of the pieces looks the same. I like the diagonal angle of your composition and framing to allow for the very high king piece. The contrast could be bumped a little higher even if you want to keep it soft. |

Oil & Waterby cbellerComment: I love your inventive angle here, it really highlights the difference between the oil and water. I'd like to see a little higher contrast or truer whites for the background but the translucence of the glass is very nice as is the highlight along the edge of the oil. |

where opposites meet : the sky and the seaby Jamie2772Comment: I like the idea here - how there's a rugged landscape and then these structures that bind the two sides of the river together. I like the use of the right side tree to ground that side of the composition. I'd only suggest that you rotate slightly to counter clockwise to get your horizon straight. |

Sweet & Sourby Brooklyn513Comment: I love the crisp focus and textures on the lemon slice and shadow on the pile of sugar. I wish the background was more bland but I appreciate the centered composition. |

Vertical Oppositesby TallblokeComment: Lovely composition and production values. The colors are magnificent and the exposure is really great - I love the sharp focus on the embossing on the green bottles. |

Hot Salsa - Cool Chipsby MissMouseComment: Very nice image - I'd like to see the background either darker or lighter than the ceramic bowl. The yellow of the chip and the red of the salsa pop very nicely. |

Chilly Chiliby lindsayComment: I like the idea of this shot very much. The colors are a little too much on the fantastic side - perhaps it's the background. The focus and composition are quite nice, I love the texture of the pepper and the curve of it with the stem. |
