It's a very good shot, but in my eyes doesn't meet the challenge. That's how. |
I generally don't openly disagree with members, but this deserves my 2 cents.
Landscapes are pretty, a lot of what is around us is pretty, beautiful even, but to see an elderly couple, walking together such as this, to me, is one of the most precious and beautiful things our lives can wish for. The landscapes and pretty things around us will still be there in 20, 50, 100 years, but the moments as seen in this great example of the bond of two human beings, will last but moments, and we all should take the time to see this as one of the great goals while we live on this planet.
Thank you for this shot Adrian, and congrats on your Blue Ribbon. |

In Photoshop, take this image as it is here, and try this:
Image, Adjustments, Match Color, then in the settings box, check Neutralize, then slide the Luminescence slider on the top to about 130.
A one-step quick color correction while maintaining the soft pastel feel here. | Photographer found comment helpful. |

Well 'tis the season to eat lots of chocolate-covered cherries and maple syrup candies. Yum!
Hey - where did my belt go? Oh - whew! it's there, it was just hiding under the dunlop... |

Don't be afraid of getting in closer and cropping tighter. Many people have thing about cutting off the top of a head, but as you can see, it really does put the focal point right where it's needed.

Ha - Canon has it's priveldges...
( actually was a wheelchair/disabilities sign, and maybe should have left it as such - these two a bit different - lol) |

I sure wanted to go topple one, just to see if it was real.
Nice POV here. | Photographer found comment helpful. |
