Fighting for survivalby LalliSigComment: Powerful and emotive shot. Well seen and captured. Though I don't (and suspect most others) care to see animals in harm's way, it is nature and it's balance. Well Done. ((7)) |

The Canyonby mathyouComment: Nice composition. Though I suspect this is the way it actually looked, a little more saturation in the yellow (will boost what looks green to us) and reds would make this richer. Nicely done. ((7)) |

Hayden Valleyby GallatinComment: Beautiful copmposition and worthy of a Post Card. Only things I see here that could use improvement is a possibly a little darker with more contrast or some saturation boost as it looks a bit "flat". Nicely done. ((7)) |

Approaching Stormby PaigeComment: I Love B&W scenery shots like this.
My suggestions here would be a little USM applied to the lightness channel in Lab Color (50, 0.3, 0), maybe even twice, then burning in the sky a little to bring it out a bit more.
Overall nice shot regardless. ((7)) |

Monsoon Over Missionby f-32Comment: Nicely composed and well seen.
As an avid B&W lover, this shot seems a bit too neutral to me. Brigning down the brightness and increasing the contrast a bit may help, and/or going into Photoshop, Selective Colors, drop-downs, and adjust Black & Neutral levels. Hope this helps. I would Love to play with this shot. ((7)) |

The Ladybug Who Wouldn't Leaveby SmittyDFWComment: Nicely toned & detailed Macro. Not sure if a different crop would have helped this a little, as the apple completely takes my eyes away from the Ladybug. Nice in any regard. ((7)) |

Sweet Slumberby K-RobComment: Nicely toned & detailed Macro. A bit narrow on the depth of field and not sure if a different crop would have helped this a little. Nice in any regard. ((7)) |

Bavarian Alps - Germanyby jonpinkComment: Great choice for B&W.
The sky and the mountain seem to be competing here, partially due to the tall crop. ((7)) |
