I applaud you for the lengths you go to in order to perfect an image such as this, and could only aspire to someday be able to even come close to being able to do a shot such as this.

monitor calibration is critical to see that there is detail in the top of the bell tower. Looking at your monitor at an extreme angle will show it if it's not visible.
Snow does this btw.
