speeding on paint branchby manishkComment: EXCELLENT job on the pan and composition.
Her flowing dress is the icing on the cake.
In my opinion, this should have been up in the ten. |

Waterlines IIby puzzledComment: Love the soft feel to this. Wonderful tones and composition too.
The angles of her and the metal grating work well together. |

Come in Closerby maestroComment: Very soft and smooth.
You Depth of Field works very well to soften the feel here. |

P4210141-copy_filteredm.jpgby ragamuffingirlComment: This is a stop and imagine kind of shot.
I look and wonder what they are thinking, what they are looking at, etc.
Keeps my attention on the shot, rather than look and move on. |

I'm Differentby paulwComment: This is one of those rare occasions that a selective desaturation works very well.
The title, her size and the direction she is looking in are the icing.
Great shot and post-processing. |

Helloby BradComment: Close-up adaptors are basically nothing more than a maginifying glass in a threaded on filter housing that is a poor man's way around buying an expensive macro lens. *grins*
Take one widely frowned-on "kit" lens, add a $20 magnifying glass on the end of it, set lens to 55mm, manually focus to closest setting, and move in/out to get the focus right. (AF works too, but can hunt around too much for me) and voila !
I do have to say they do give a lot of bang for the buck.
Often sold in sets of varying strengths.

The Southern Crossby BudComment: All I see is spots. Sensor dust? j/k
*grin*
I have to try a long night exposure like this, but so many city lights to interfere. Cool shot. |
