Off the Cliffby jusdino4itComment: I'm trying to find what is the main focal point / point of interest here.
There really isn't a main subject here to see and leaves me kind of losing interest. |

Cycad Seed Podby sherpetComment: I can't lace my finger on what is so unusual here.
There is little really that is sharp/well-defined and the color palette seems off for some reason - I think - not sure I have ever seen one either. |

gnarley davidsonby ehoscaComment: Certainly a unique image here in this challenge.
The post-processing has taken this out of the realm of photography in my opinion. Have you tried this in a high-contrast black & white? |

New Orleans Street Soulby Bernard_MarxComment: A marvelous capture.
The post-processing here hurts this for me. Perhaps too much shadow/highlight adjustments and an uneven/unusual burn/darkening at the top.
I would love to try my hand at the original after the challenge. |

After the Rainby LoreneComment: Stunning photograph.
This woudn't have nearly the impact without that fabulous sky.
Well done on being in the right place at the right time. |

Lollypopsby whiteroomComment: Great use of leading lines and superb tones & detail.
Visually heart-warming and superb in composition.
One of the BEST black & white images I have seen in a very, very long time. |

Paradiseby aberrationComment: Gorgeous place to visit from the looks of your image.
The saturation levels here are way too high in my opinion, rendering much of it harsh. |

Where's Alice?by redmoonComment: Great IR shot and good composition.
Kinda hard to find a proper subject that will look well as an Infra-Red image, and this one does well in that regard. |

Saturday at the Lakeby emaynerComment: After the chalenge, feel free to contact me by PM on preparing an image for a challenge. This image has been compressed so much that there is a lot of "jaggies' and compression artifacts. The file size we were allowed was 200kb, and see yours here was 22kb. Not real keen on the overall tone either. |

Emeraldby bryanbrazilComment: A fine composition and what a serene place - can I bring a picnic basket?
This may be only my personal tastes, but the colors here are a bit too much. I think this would look better if the levels and saturation were brought down a couple notches, and the Cyan in the waterfalls were toned dopwn a bit.
This is pretty easy to do in selective color adjustments. |
