In the Treesby BakerBugComment: Can't get much clearer than this, and applaud getting it right, considering the speed! |

The Stormby manic35Comment: Excellent shot!!
The leading line of the rocks, drawing my eyes up to the fisherman is perfect.
Bumping up and adding to my favorites - this moves my soul. |

Pampering Mans Best Friendby wali12Comment: The harshness of the high contrast and the reflections in the eyes makes this a touch difficult to look at for very long.
I don't have an off-camera flash to prevent the eye reflections, but learned to get creative taking pics of my cat by using a ping-pong ball over the flash head to ease the effect a bit. |

Life Over Turbulent Waters IIby iceMan71Comment: Excellent job on the focus here. Not sure if the water desturation works best on this. Perhaps a slightly toned down blue/green would have added to it. |

Manchester Big Wheelby Zee81Comment: Good timing on capturing the sky's colors and not having just a plain black sky. I like the point of view and crop here. |

Country Heavenby geneward2Comment: Greatsense of perspective and spatial dimension.
Had you shot this one foot higher or lower, the distortion would not have looked right. Well done! |

Natural Eleganceby IvoryComment: What a beautiful horse portrait!
A little more post-processing was kinda' needed to desaturate the rest along the horizon and a touch in the mane.
As a suggestion, and if you are using Photoshop, try new layer via copy, then add a warming filter (usually the default one that comes up), then while still in the layer, carefully use the eraser tool to erase back the horse. This will add a slightly warmer tone to the desaturated background. |

Summer Dazeby devoidComment: I wish the tonemapping wouldn't affect areas beside sharp-lines like the flagpole. I've had to spend a bit of time cleaned/cloning those odd-ball areas to preserve a more natural look.
This is a good example of not over-doing the new methods avaialble to us. |

Early Morning Surferby cp5140Comment: I really like the tones & colors in this as well as the wide-aspect ratio presentation. The frame works well here.
I'm not sure if it's the size or the lighting, but seems like there is some uneven dodge/burn in this, creating blotchy areas. |
