Ah, one of the few ORIGINAL ideas in this challenge. Looks good in the "slim Jim" framing. Techinique wise, it has some problems: 1) The print is "muddy" with o real crisp whites and no "black blacks." 2) This is exacerbated by the bright white in your frame - that white competes with the image ... and it wins.

Habit? Not likely - just a trait of the breed. But it is still a very captivating image nonetheless. Very nice exposure, composition and lighting. And... it's not a toilet seat!

A very unusual portrait. At first glance, I saw a hand under her chin with a finger pushing the chin up.... So it's abit mysterious and makes you look twice.

It's great rendition - nice work on the composition, exposure and "printing." Nice blacks alng with some white whites and a good tonal range in between. The background and its textures goes well. I think it would be even more powerful if the model did exactly what he was doing but shifted his eyes towards the camera (not the head - just the eyes) - maybe not full eye contact, but some the eyes were more visible.

Of all the "smoking" images, this is one that has some redeeming value. Has a bit of a "Norman Rockwall" feel. The smoke by your models ear is great.

It certainly is a habit - apparently a very popular one considering the number of entries of a similar vein. Unfortunately I don't see much more than that - nothing reaches out and says "wow."

Sometimes I wish I had gone fishin' - rather than score image after image of toliet seats, cigarettes, and noses! You get an extra point just for the relief! It's an ORIGINAL idea (sigh) and well exposed and composed. Not terribly exciting however.

There's a wonderful feel to this image. Nice subtle colors both in the buildings and their reflection. Composition good but a bit crowded at the bottom. The softness of focus on the buildings may bother some - but I kinda like it. I toss the heavy black border.
