Playfulby TranquilComment: She does look playful. Two things that I would like to see improved for me to rate this high. The fact that her feet were moving is a distraction for me and her face is reflecting the blue tint of the playground toy. 5 |

Bufo americanusby chuckComment: Terrific in every way
Returning for additional comments: The one thing that bothers me is that this wouldn't usually be a natural position for an American toad - being terrestrial in nature. Did you find him like this, and if not how did you get him to stay there? The way the belly skin is up over the wood suggests that it was placed there from above. I still like the photo though and am giving it a 10 |

Oh Dear Me!by BrookiedComment: The image is too much in the center of the frame, which makes it somewhat boring to look at. The animals are not in very good focus either. Better luck next challenge. 4 |

Snowy Egretby waterliliesComment: Nice effort. What keeps me from voting it higher than a 6 is the blown highlights on the back (a difficult challenge, I know) |

Looking at me?by GautiComment: To me, the head looks a little odd just poking out like this. The crop is not tight enough to be a "portrait" but too tight to get a sense of the animal in it's environment - it's kind of in a no-man's land for me. In addition. the focus is a little off on this one. I'm giving it a 4 |

Good Morning Mr. Squirrelby browntComment: Really nicely exposed and good focus. What keeps me from voting it higher is that (IMO) the composition is a little weak. Dead center in the frame doesn't give me anywhere else to look around in the photo or to add to the "story" of what the squirrel is doing. 5 |
