The Day's Last Mealby jbsmithanaComment: I like this shot, it's very well composed. The sky over the left side of the house looks a little weird, but that's ok. The one thing that needs improvement is the dark colors - I can't make out any detail in the cow's face - I would have liked to have seen the eyes. 6 |

A look of innocenseby jmleliiComment: The skin hghtlights are blown out and there is no detail in the dark areas - too much contrast adjustment perhaps? Also, the hair in the face is a distraction. I think the crop is awkward too - the area on the left doesn't add anything to the "feel" of the photo, so in this case, the rule of thirds doesn't work. |
