Silly Puppyby littlegettComment: Good one. I know you had to make a choice for the focal point and generally it's the eyes in a portrait, but I'm thinking this would have been better if the tongue was in focus. As is, it's a bit distracting. |

I just bought (2 days ago) the 200-400 instead. Tough choice and both are crazy expensive. |

Depending on where and when you go, and the condition of the ice on the Mississippi (mostly frozen with open pockets) you can see literally hundreds of Bald Eagles in one spot. Depending on the factors, they can be in Ottumwa, Davenport, Burlington or a number of other places - one has to be willing to drive to find them. By the time the river thaws out they have pretty much dispersed. |
