The trouble with taking a picture from a low angle is that the perspective refuses to co-operate, and insists on diminishing the image as it goes up. Consequently the subjhect, which fits so nicely at the bottlom of the picture starts to leave the sides and almost give the picture he impression of widening at the top. It is a very good subject however.

Who said 'bars do not a prison make'? They certainly do in this case. Everything is there.. ( I suppose it would be unfair to insist that a prisoner pose for the camera). Very well done.

A good subject, and nobody could complain that there is nothing to relieve the boredom of the layers of bricks. She keeps looking at me... does she know something? Very good.

Parallel Light

More than just Parallel Lines

This is very interesting indeed. I take it to be the inside of a dome-like structure, after and Islamic model. The brickwork photographs wonderfully well and the turquoise and terracotta colouring sit happily together.

This is a good subject. The border planting adds some flavour, and the colour of the fence, is pleasing.

Parallel & Intersecting

I like this . The building has reflections of itself, each wing reflect on the other (I think) and enough parallel lines to satisfy any challenge. Without any figures though , I find it a bit stark; figures do give scale to something like this But I couldn't fault the phtography.

This has a long long perspective, which is always a bit mysterious, although on such a lovely spring day, mystery seems a long way off.

Driving Between the Lines

A very good long exposure, showing what can be done with this sort of thing with a bit of imagination. There is no clutter and the railings (of the bridge?)
set off the bright trails of light perfectly.

The Candle and the reflection

This has a nice ghostly, old world look about it, enhanced by black and white.
The camera settings must have been spot on to have the candle flame so
clear and the tall candle and shadow exactly right.
