asleepby lamedosComment: I had no idea this was a macro! I thought it was a huge statue in a museum setting with perfect lighting provided. I had given you a 7...to me, effort counts a lot plus you tricked me into thinking I was seeing something grand and perfect...raise my 7 in your average to a 9. I'm going to go snack on some crow now. : P |

asleepby lamedosComment: Nice photo. I would have been more impressed if you could come up with a shot of similar quality with real people. I do like this but it falls into my 'of course it's gonna look great with that for a subject' category. I still gave you a good score...but it could have been higher. |

Bread crumbles in shadowsby submanComment: hmmm...I think this could have been really cool if you had caught a rat nibbling on the crumbs. But, no rat...no shadow (just dark)...no interest (I may be biased against the subject since I'm constantly cleaning up someone else's crumbs)==>no big points. |

Flower Shadowsby B3DComment: Oh for criminy's sake...another flower! LOL. I do like this but it doesn't seem to meet the challenge. If it does it's by a hair. Wish the lighting was more similar on the left and right outer petals. Oh, if this were a 'light' picture you'd get another pt from me. |

Newborn Sleepingby timichelComment: beautiful baby...not so beautiful photo to enter a contest. All of those different blankets and textures together are ugly...I can barely see the shadows fro the loud clashing patterns. Did I mention the baby's beautiful? |
