Awesome first challenge entry Jess. Creative idea and the colours and focus are excellent. I think in this shot I'd love to see the leaves go all the way to the top at the sides, so you can't see the rocks.

I like to have fun after the challenges trying different ideas.....with this one I'd try different arrangements of the apple and flowers. Maybe apple off centre or dandelion on top of the apple......stuff like that. It's such a lovely fresh looking image.

I love the composition and the touch of colour on the other horse's back. Though the front horse is amazing, for me the horse in the b/g is the factor that makes this so interesting. Gives the image a depth that otherwise wouldn't have been there.

I love this shot! The focus, dof and the look of total absorbtion in what she's doing is gorgeous. Would love to see the next in the series of this with her with one of the flowers in her hand.

With the angle of his head, in b/w, unless you know it's a dog, it's hard to make out what you're looking at. I would love to see this in colour....looks really interesting!
