My Daughter, a Future Prima Ballerinaby RazorsEdgeComment: Critique club
Initial thoughts
She has the most beautiful eyes, I love the lighting!
Composition
Though I love the composition of this shot, to me it doesn't tell me 'future prima donna'.........I don't get the feeling of a dancer, or of her love of that dress. However, I do get the feeling of the loving bond between you.
Camera work/technical
Superb lighting, tones, focus. Lovely work!!!
Digital processing
You have done a beautiful job with this shot.
Fits the challenge
The image itself fits the challenge, though with the title you gave it there is a feeling of it not fitting. If you'd shown her dancing I think this would have scored a lot higher.
Personal opinion
This is a very beautiful shot of an adorable little girl. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Composition
The angle you shot this at works very well here. He's slightly offcentred, the lines of the building lead the eye throughout. Very well done!
Technical stuff (exposure, dof, lighting etcâ€Â¦)
The subtle tones you've used work well with this shot (though I may have tried more yellow in the mix). IMO the mid tones are a bit too dark, makes the details on the man difficult to pick up. Using an adjustment layer with either levels/selective colour (neutral channel)brings back a bit of light to him. The focus on this shot appears soft.......unsharp mask would help with this
Message/atmosphere portrayed
Great atmosphere, though I don't get the feeling of love from it.
Meeting the challenge
Would have met the Street Photography challenge brilliantly, reaching to meet Love 11
My personal opinion
I love the composition, the emotion of this shot, just wish that you'd had the time to enter it into the right challenge.
Hope you find this helpful, feel free to PM me if you have any questions
regards
sue

Don't Fence Me Out (In)by GeneralEComment: Greetings from the CC club.
I really like the vibrancy of this image. It is very reminiscent of that late 60's era.
Technically. Well, don't really feel qualified to comment much here as I'm no expert. To me the colours look great, though further playing round in the red/green/blue channels in curves does add a little extra depth/punch. I think I'd like you to have pulled back and included a little of the background surrounds as the fence going almost to the top gives me a claustrophobic feel (though that could well have been the effect you were trying for) I do agree with a couple of the commenters who mentioned that a human element in the shot would have made a difference......something like a blurred motion figure running through (though controlling the situation when you're sitting on a bus is not possible).
I think one of the things that continually delights me is the originality of your work. You are never afraid to try something new. You are an inspiration.
