I gave this a 9 and truth be told I do earnestly believe it should have fared much better in the challenge.

How anyone could even consider giving this less than a 5 truly is beyond comprehension.

This image must have been taken with a very long lens unless of course your Killdeer behave very differently than here. Here, when one gets anywhere near their nest, they tend to run away from the nest and give you the broken wing thing, hoping you will follow them away from the nest.

Nice image, but the harsh sun really did not do you any favours. Good luck in the challenge.

Funny how some images immediately make you think of a place you visited. This image reminds me ever so much of a recent visit to Tasmania.

I do find this a very appealing image and her is hoping you do well in the challenge.

A stunningly beautiful shot. I have an appreciation of just how difficult it is to photograph birds in the wild and must commend you on this shining example of great wildlife photography. Very well done indeed and I do hope it fares well in the challenge.

I am not a betting man, but if I were I would wager that this photo was taken at Fraser Island in Australia. Mind you, the ruts don't look deep enough... I truly enjoyed the bus ride and would recommend it to anyone..

Perhaps I am misinformed, but I was under the impression that only "friends" could see the image and if such is the case, I doubt that Beetlehas identified many individuals as her friends in Facebook.

Assuming that the numbers are minimal, what possible impact could this have. I voted on this image and if you promise not to reveal my score to her I will gladly tell you what it was. :O)
