Beeby leeroysoupComment: This image is 170 x 227. Why so small? Bigger will score better and let me see the detail hidden here. |

Sailing at Sunsetby ReddenComment: This image is 240x160. Why so small? If I could see more of it (i.e. if it were bigger) I probably could have given it a 7 or 8. |

Ultimate Indulgenceby cryanComment: Hmmm ... long nails, feminine ring ... self indulgence? Sorry but relevence to the theme isn't ringing my chimes. |

If It Makes You Happyby isonajComment: Due to the contrast between black background and bright subjects, this is a really difficult shot to pull off, especially with basic editing. You did a nice job with the strawberry. Two things would have improved it for me: 1) Deeper DOF; and 2) Reducing the exposure so there was some texture, more light and shadow, in the ice cream. |

Just Another Monday Morningby skewsmeComment: I'd give the technical execution here about a 6 or 7. But the subject matter and relevance to the theme bring it down quite a bit. |

Indulge into happinessby DigiFotoBuddyComment: Good concept. Nice setting. Well costumed. Focus is good. Lighting is okay, possibly a little flat. For me though, it might have had a much richer feeling in color rather than the sepia. |

Indulging in yarnby brookepiComment: My wife is a knitter and I understand very well the notion of indulging in yarn. Those who do not have a kniting connection may not feel the indulgence of this. In the case of your photo, it feels very bright to me. Did you use a flash? If so, I think it overpowered the photo and especially washed out some of the rich detail in the cat's face which would have added a lot of interest to the photo. I usually have better luck with natural light or an external flash which gives you more control. Good luck. |

Pasta!by MilacroftComment: I didn't vote this very highly and I am struggling to make a constructive comment. It feels to me like the whole image is over exposed. The wall behind shows almost no detail, the pasta in the forground is too bright to show any shadowing which would have added interest. The range of levels is pretty narrow with no true blacks in the photo. Finally the photo doesn't convey indulgence to me. I sure this seems pretty negative and I'm sorry about that. |
